Gig Harbor: Store Manager of Paper Luxe/Little Luxe

Paper Luxe Gig Harbor

Our Gig Harbor store manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations at our Gig Harbor Paper Luxe and Little Luxe locations. They will be responsible for leading and developing our incredible team of full and part-time staff, setting and reaching store goals, and fostering community outreach. 
 
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • the ability to communicate effectively with customers, your team, and the company leadership team
  • an extensive retail background with relevant experience managing a team and brick and mortar store
  • excellent customer relationship and management skills – building and fostering relationships with customers and our community
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • the ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings, and weekends
  • the ability to walk, bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push and pull to handle or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
 
Your job duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • developing and maintaining your team schedule, allocating resources efficiently for store profitability and team happiness
  • training and development of your team to reach sales goals and create the most amazing customer experience possible
  • working closely with the Director of Operations  and owner on the curation of new inventory, management of existing inventory, and replenishment of ongoing inventory
  • overseeing the visual merchandising of the store and ensuring that all displays are fresh, captivating, and effective
  • keeping the store floor, workshop, and warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized
  • working closely with our Workshop Coordinator to facilitate successful creative workshops and space rentals
  • seeking better ways to promote the company locally by engaging with customers and the community

Hours & Availability

This is a full-time, salaried position. The ideal candidate would generally work Tuesday-Saturday each week from 9am-6pm, but must be able and willing to work a varying schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates.
