Position: Retail Associate

Hours: 12-24 hours a week

NOTE: At this time, we are not hiring seasonal/temporary team members. 

Position Overview and Responsibilities 

Currently, we’re looking for a retail associate to provide all customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Our retail associates are responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Working the shop floor to assist customers
  • Pulling online orders for local pickup or to be shipped 
  • Learning the different lines and products carried by Paper Luxe 
  • Working the registers
  • Designing eye-catching product displays
  • Receiving and tagging new inventory
  •  Providing enthusiastic and engaging customer service 
  • Creating a warm and friendly environment for shoppers
  • Taking and relaying special customer requests to management 
  • Helping to track and upkeep inventory
  • Keeping the shop clean and tidy

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will be highly detailed (the little things matter to us!)
  • Is able to multitask and problem solve in real time
  • Has previous retail experience (though this is not required)
  • Has a working knowledge of the Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Forms, Sheets, etc.)
  • Will have a positive and team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a mix of weekdays and weekends (including some holidays)
  • Must be able and willing to lift 40 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Hours and Availability

We are currently looking for part-time to full-time help in our Gig Harbor location. Our standard operating hours are Monday-Saturday from 10am-6pm and on Sundays from 11am-4pm. We’re currently looking for new team members to help round out the schedule. Lots of flexibility and room for growth in this position!
