Our brush lettering workshop is truly an original and will be lead by our own Brooke Goans of Originals Paper Art (and Paper Luxe Gig Harbor). She will share with you the basic techniques for successful brush lettering and flourishing.
This is a three week course and at-home practice is highly recommended. Week one Brooke will introduce brush markers, brush lettering vocabulary and grid setup. You will learn how to letter all lowercase letters and the secret to letter spacing and word spacing. Week two you will work on duplicate letters, combination letters, ascenders and descenders. You will also learn how to letter all uppercase letters and explore alternative styles. The final week you will bounce letters, stack words, explore flourishes and fine tune your lettering.
You will learn with ZEBRA MILDLINER Brush Markers. All markers are included in your registration fee along with an Introduction to Brush Lettering packet, Alphabet Lettering Guide, and one pad each of Tracing Sheets and Practice Grids.
Please note if we do not have a minimum of 6 people registered for the workshop, we will cancel and refund your registration fee. We do ask that participants under the age of 18 be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.
Workshop tickets are NOT refundable/exchangeable, but are transferable to another person should you not be able to attend.
